Coming soon to a computer or smart-phone near you!

I don’t know about you, but I love rummaging through the rails of charity shops, vintage warehouses and second-hand stalls. There’s something almost magical about looking through the old or no longer used, in the hope of finding a hidden gem. I love the idea of finding relic of a bi-gone era, with all of its stories and history, and giving it a new lease of life. What draws many of us to our local charity shops is not only the idea that we can support a wonderful cause through our retail therapy, but also the thought of rediscovering an old favourite or finding a vintage treasure.

When I don’t have time to hit the high street in pursuit of my next treasure I love online shopping. Whether its eBay, Etsy or Amazon, I can always find something that catches my eye. I mean who doesn’t love a spot of shopping from the comfort of the sofa?! All the fun without the bad feet! The growth of online shopping over the last few years has shown that we love being able to get what we want with just the click of a mouse or swipe of our phones.

With all this in mind we’re so excited for our tŷ hafan eBay store opening and making our wonderful collection of unique donated items available online. Our supporters are amazing and donate incredible items which we can’t wait for you to see. Our vision for the store is that it will be the go-to place for those unique items that you love to find, from old school Nintendo games to legendary records that range from The Beatles to The Spice Girls. Categorised and easy to find, the store will have everything from the weird and wonderful to the valuable and designer. There will be all the magic of charity shop browsing all at the click of a button and delivered to your door or ready to collect when you choose.

Whether you’re like me and love a vintage find or you’re an avid comic book collector, our eBay shop will have something for you and will also raise vital funds to help us provide unique care and support to life-limited children, young people and their families. So have your mouse or your smart-phone at the ready and watch this space!
